There are still a few things in the works, but we’re fairly sure this will be our house for the next few years after moving away from D.C. I have numerous requests to see pictures. I wanted to wait until the house was no longer listed on the MLS so that strangers couldn’t see our address and such. Without further ado, here’s our future home:

Apparently, my strategy worked (that is removing all “designated” baby dolls from the premises)! Mimi did the #2 on the potty yesterday. And, I must say it was quite a masterpiece. Even Annie, who insisted she get a peek, was talking about it for the rest of the day. The first thing she described to Daddy upon his return home yesterday was how large Mimi’s doo-doo was. Mimi was quite proud of herself, too, not just because of the size but because she finally went #2 on the big girl potty. I even gave her an extra M&M over the allotted 3 for going poo.

The strange thing though is that Mimi has evidently formed a bond with baby flipflop. The original baby was returned to Mimi, but Mimi wanted nothing more than her beloved shoe.

Sorry to keep on about this, but I’m shrieking with laughter every few minutes around here. She sleeps with it, she’s found a bed for it, she feeds it, she carries it everywhere with her (even on car trips). It’s too much! I need her to stop making me laugh so much!
