Well, concerned citizen, I did post your comment, but you commented on a different post. Pay attention to what you're commenting on. Obama, huh? I'll make sure to get you a "Vote for Obama" t-shirt to wear.

Thanks for commenting, and thanks for you compliments. I would gladly help you decorate. If only I lived closer. I'm just a phone call or email away if you ever want an opinion on something:)

Sara-
Thanks for the compliments. You should like the sectional, it's very much like the one you have in your basement. It is new. The red couches are trashed and are living in our unfinished basement at the moment. Between the dog and kids, those red couches never had a chance. Got the sectional on sale plus another 15% discount for being active-duty military and used our stimulus payment, so we couldn't pass up that deal before we spent all the money on something else. I suppose we could've just saved the money....nah. So ya like my ladder, huh? It was originally bought for the sole purpose of storing blankets on, but the girls kept stealing those blankets to make forts and have tea parties. So now the ladder stands cold and nekked.

Denise-
Thanks to you, too! Get on it, girl. You gotta just go for it in the color/decorating department. I used to be the same way, but then I realized by the time I picked all my colors and decorating ideas, then it was time to move again soon after. Life is too short. Can't you just do away with the connectors and put some hanging hardware directly on the back of the daily system components? Ours is a knock-off purchased from various places such as Target, Hobby Lobby, and made by us. I really wanted the PB version. However, when I priced everything I wanted it was going to cost me around $500. Ouch! So I ended up spending more like $40 on our current version.

Wow, I'm impressed. I haven't even put up any pictures because I can't figure out what color to paint the rooms. Your house looks great. I say that you shouldn't paint the table. Then, your stools would look out of place. BTW-I had that "daily system" in my old house. I'm dying to put it back up but Barrington broke one of the connectors when he was taking it off the wall. I can't find another one. So, so sad.

Pretty window treatments! Things I love in your house: yellow!, the girls' craft corner, your new sectional (or did you have the red one recovered? If so, it looks totally new!), and the ladder leading up to the invisible bookshelf (heehee!).

Cute girls too (cute little story about Mimi/Amelia!) I have a picture of Katie at pretty close to the same age as Annie that looks a lot like Annie.

Have fun with Grandpa Minnesota! Hope he and Mike catch something fishy.
